Our students were invited to attend the Climate Change Summit organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Our school was invited by the former Director of the Hong Kong Observatory, Mr. Shum Chi-ming, to attend the Climate Adaptation and Resilience Conference (CARE2022) held by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and more than 20 science students from S.4 attended the conference in the morning of 10th December. A number of government officials, including the Secretary for the Environment and Ecology, the Director of Water Supplies and the Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation, attended the conference to share their views on how to cope with extreme weather and how to mitigate the worsening of climate change. The students learnt a lot from the sharing and were very active in asking questions during the meeting.
