10th Anniversary Sculpture

Tree of Life

“The fruit of righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” - Proverbs 11:30

The years 2009-2010 was our school’s 10th anniversary. In celebration of this joyful occasion, we established a "Tree of Life" sculpture. It is embedded with a metal plate inscribed with Proverbs 11:30, which serves as a testament to the determination of all stakeholders in the school.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was arranged right after the Thanksgiving worship service for the 10th anniversary celebration on December 4, 2009. The officiating guests included the Chief School Development Officer of the Eastern District of the Education Bureau, the school supervisor, pastors, the school principal, teachers, representatives of the PTA and the Student Union. The ceremony was designed with delicateness, where guests were instructed to place fruit on the "Tree of Life" one by one, symbolising the school’s determination to move forward and bear the abundant growth of fruit in the future. At the end, the Student Union and teachers set off confetti, rounding up the ceremony amid a joyful atmosphere.
